Best College Bands
 

What do you guys think are the best college bands around today, and go ahead and list your local bands if you think they're good...I'm looking to find new music in my general genre, I've grown tired of the old tunes...

I'll go ahead and list it first, as everyone to follow will too in DMB

* DMB
* Phish
* O.A.R.
* Muckrakers
* Ben Harper
* Ekoostik Hooka
* String Cheese Incident
* Geggy Tah
* Mike and Joe
* ....I'm sure there are more, my brain just froze up though

list especially the bands that are up-and-coming
that way we can say, I heard of them, before we 'hear' of them

and it doesn't need to be this genre, just whatever you think makes quintessential college jams

Well, I am from Denton, home of lots of up-coming bands, Deep Blue Something, Toadies, Brave Combo-Its so cool to know I went to Ricks(club in denton) and saw all these bands before the were on the radio.
and also fort worth has some good ones I really like Flickerstick, and Bowling for Soup.
