Thanks and props to AKA and DST

I know I am the only one from my school on this board, but I'll use it anyway.

I'd like to publicaly thank the wonderful women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and the awesome ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for the exceptional step show they put on last night at the welcome to campus event.

It was the first step show ever held on our campus, and while they were the only two groups to perform, they amaized the crowd withtheir talent, ability and creativity. While we dont have an NPHC chapter at UTSA, and only have a handful of the divine nine represented here, these women did a great job!:D I have seen a few shows other places and I really hope this is the beginning of a great new tradition of stepping at UTSA. Thanks again to these women for bringing this wonderful and historical aspect of the greek community to our campus. :D

It couldn't be any other way!

I just had to smile when I read your post. I'm not the least bit surprised to hear such wonderful things about those two groups. Every member of AKA or DST that I've ever gotten to know personally has just been soooo together.

There's two DST's in my classes in law school and WOW! the brains those two have. :D Such interesting insights that they add to class. Definitely some of my favorite people to talk with.

The first member of any sorority I was really friends with at college, NPC or NPHC, was an AKA. Ladies, my opinion of your sisterhood is embodied by Jocelyn. Probably one of the most intelligent, organized, strongest leaders I've ever met in my whole life. She was student body vice president, ran our freshman orientation program (which is HUGE here  ), and was also always so caring and warm to everyone, whether they were important or not.

So, ladies of DST and AKA, your organizations are clearly doing something great to attract and develop such awesome women here in Florida! You all rock! I'm always in awe when I see a woman in your letters.

BTW, this isn't meant to disparage any of the other groups. I just haven't been fortunate to get to know personally any ZPB's or SGR's. Judging from the members here on GC, they have just as many fabulous people too! :)

GC love,

G8Ralphaxi :)
