Green party prez/veep candidates...anyone familiar?
 

:D Our local paper ran an article the other day about the presidential candidates that will be on the Virginia ballot. imagine my surprise when i saw not one black face, but two for president: one Ms Cynthia Mckinney...you may remember her from a couple years back. http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...ad.php?t=77156

and the veep candidate? Rosa Clemente, a self-proclaimed hip hop activist...:confused:...no experience whatsoever in a public office. makes Palin look great!

i know Palin has been much more fun to make fun of, but why hasnt the media spent at least ten minutes showcasing this set of ladies...it even says on their website that Roseanne Barr is a supporter of theirs! doesnt that make you want to vote even more?

while you're at it, a local radio host and activist from Maryland was running for the nomination. Dr. Jared Ball has (had?) a hip-hop & culture show on WPFW (pacifica / jazz). he was the black graduate student assn prez when i was at College Park.
I heart him and value the ideals of the party - but won't be voting for Ms. McKinney.

im tripping over the audacity to put a puerto-rican hip hop activist in the VP slot!!! lmao!! next election my girls will be 11 and 4. i think i will prep them now and let them run too...:rolleyes:
