Brother on Top 10 of America's Got Talent
Has everyone been watching America's Got Talent?
What most people do not know is that the Opera Singer Neal E. Boyd is a brother of the bond of Lambda Chi Alpha at Delta Phi Zeta at Southeast Missouri State University. Here is some info on Neal with clips from his performances, you can also find him on Youtube: http://www.semissourian.com/section/nealboyd He will be on TONIGHT (9/17/08) Lets get out and Rock the Vote for brother Boyd! In ZAX! |
HQ has it on their website about Neil Boyd.
|
He is definitely one of the top three acts. Good luck to him!
|
Boyd is a last name we don't see too often up North.
Boyd. |
I went to grade school with Neil. He's such a good guy! You all should be very proud to have him as a brother! :-)
|
The guy has talent, but I am a little concerned for his health.
He is rather big for such a young guy. Diabetes, heart disease, bone problems, etc. Does anyone know if he is any program to get help for his health? |
He can work on it after he makes his millions, maybe some quick surgery and a nutritonist, but him being big shouldnt detract from his talent or support.
Hope he makes it all the way. |
Rubin Studard. Nothing is guaranteed.
|
Hes like the one exception out of the major talent shows (American Idol, and AGT), everyone else did pretty good. If he just makes top 3 he will do fine, although I hear these shows take like a huge percent of the performers money.
|
If you win, yes. AI is really bad about it. That's why Daughtry is so successful.
He came in fourth, and keeps the money he makes. |
For everyone who didn't catch the show, Neal E. Boyd has just won America's Got Talent. Way to represent Delta Phi and Lambda Chi Alpha Neal!

Update
Neal E. Boyd sang the national anthem at a Seattle HEEhawks game about 2 months ago. I see he now has his own website and it plugs an upcoming album.
He was an active close to the time I was in Cape Girardeau for about a week back in 2001. I bet the Lambda Chi brothers I met that week were active with him. That really is a great little town (though the Mexican food at El Torero was awful). |
