Tell me, what is the Expositor? Quite an exotic title...

I too need a copy of The Expositor, i would really like an actual book to help out my collection, but I know they are rare so i guess a copy would suffice.

The Expositor is a rare Chapter Operations Manual / Fraternity History for Lambda Chi Alpha. Edited by Bruce McIntosh back in the 20's. I lucked out and was able to get my hands on a copy on Ebay some time ago.

It is a pretty interesting read. My copy is currently on loan to my active chapter's High Beta for reference material. So Trey, if you are in Greensboro, you have my permission to borrow it, but I warn you that the binding is in poor shape so please be careful with it.

Here is a link to a Cross And Crescent article on the manual

Duke's Copy

Brother,

How did you get Duke Fladd's copy?

There has to be a story there!

How does this relate to "Lambda Chi Alpha: A Historical Prospective"?

It's part of the Sigma Zeta library. When Duke passed on, his wife gave it to George Spasyk (Sigma 556 for those of you keeping score at home) and he gave it to us when we got our charter back in 2002. There's a notecard on the inside of the front cover that says "Duke's copy"
