Anyone want to talk about Andrew Sullivan?
 

How much of his audience has been reading longer than four years, do you suppose?

I like him a lot, as far as someone to listen to, but some of the stuff he's said and done skeeves me out (Bareback Mountain scandal, anyone?).

I was reading him, even back in the New Republic days, and I always found it interesting. My interest waned a little when it seems like a really high % of his post were about gay marriage rights. I'm ambivalent about the issue and don't mind thinking about it, but I just wasn't interested enough to keep following his blog almost daily.

Lately, I think maybe I only liked him because we were both victims of Bill Clinton Derangement Syndrome. Or maybe it's that he used to have some conservative leanings and I'm not sure he has any anymore. I really like that he spent so much time trying to reconcile his political beliefs and his faith, which seems like something we all ought to do.
