Recolonization Reception Tonight - HELP!
 

To my dear Forum Members:

I've been on the boards for the past two years heeding all of your advice to help me assimilate to Greek Life at my school and even build up the courage to go through Rush previously.

Unfortuantley during that time I was unable to find an organization I liked and declined two bids. After that experience, myself and 40 other women commited the past two years to bringing a new organization onto campus.

After two years, the wait is over and we have our first "recruitment" event tonight. This will be an informal reception where the members of the interest groups as well as active sisters from the chapters near by and members from Nationals will be there.

I know the rules of "what to say" and "how to act" and I am extremley greatful for all of the advice provided thus far.

Any extra tips?

Ok, I'm confused - are you and the 40 other women going to the reception of a group that is recolonizing, or are you having presentations from NPC groups?

If it's the former, I am guessing that the reps from the national have already met you, so why are you feeling like you have to impress them? Or do you all have to rush individually - they are not taking you as a group?
