Questions about GBX

How am I just seeing this thread? That is a VERY good question, MysticCat. Let's look at the facts:
Historical Connection Gamma Beta Chi (founded 2002): "On a cold winter evening in Broward County, Florida, the entity of Gamma Beta Chi Service Fraternity, Inc. was founded from a tradition of brotherhood which dates back as early as 1959 in Bloomington, Indiana." (Credit: http://www.gammabetachi.org/historypurpose.php) Delta Beaux: "The Fraternal Order of Beaux, Incorporated has come a long way since 1959. Founded on the principle of Academics Awareness, Ethical Standards, Unity, Fellowship and Leadership, Beaux Inc. has broken new grounds by becoming the first traditional Non-Greek organization to completely sever ties with its parent group and become and incorporated entity under a unified region. Formally known as Delta Beaux, the order was founded in the Spring of 1959, at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana." (Credit: http://members.tripod.com/~BEAUXINCUSF/beauxhist.html) EAMSB Connection *EAMSB is some sort of secret phrase/pass-phrase From Youtube - GBX: aceclub1 (1 year ago) "EAMSB" (Credit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3fzCdmO3II) From a guestbook - Beaux: Much repect, although I'm a Delta Gent/Beaux. From Edward Waters College. But I give props were they are do. EAMSB (Credit: http://maxpages.com/forms.cgi?formna...ist+Data&rad=x) I'd like to thank a very special GCer for the real investigative work. He knows who he is. And, FYI, I've PDFed the evidence, so no take-backs. K? |
Wow Soror!!! Good Job ;-)

Interesting.
I mean, if Deltas can be okay with their history (and there is NOTHING to be shamed of, btw) then I don't understand why GBX isn't. No shame in evolving from sidekickery to a "real" fraternity. |
I am very impressed that you three seem to have taken such an interest in my organization. Keep up the good work.

My service sorority's founders were all TKE Little Sisters, for example. It's an important part of our history, and I would feel ridiculous if I gave the impression I was ashamed of it by refusing to talk about it. If anyone were to ask me about my founders' previous affiliation I would be completely up front and more than happy to discuss it. Which I guess is why I'm having so much trouble understanding why you are playing this so coy. |

You nor your buddies are in any way, shape, form or fashion interested in membership. So spare me. Your correct about the aspirant comment, though. And when any aspirant, respectfully, asks questions about GBX, I and any brother will be more than happy to answer their questions. |
