I thought I'd start this thread by telling you all that Zeta Chi (University of Idaho) met quota, which was 27, plus 8! 35 new members brings us to 96, which is 16 above total!!!!!!!!!!!

Eta Eta at Northern Kentucky University finished fall recruitment and pledged 31 fantastic new members, (quota plus) and got all of the top girls they wanted. They are a relatively new chapter, but definitely one to watch out for in the future--their members are incredibly active on campus and receive lots of recognition and awards.

ETA Also, Oklahoma State (Nu) pledged 50, either quota or quota plus in August recruitment. Congrats to the ladies of Nu!

Hey ladies! I just got back from bid day for my chapter, Zeta Mu at Towson and get ready for this...we have a new pledge class of 43!!! I'm not sure what quota was exactly but it was in the ballpark of 30 so we were wayyy above, plus we have the largest new pledge class of all the chapters on campus -SO exciting! :D

Xi - University of Pittsburgh has 15 new members, putting them 1 above total (which is 60), including a legacy, which is nice. There's not a lot of legacies that go through rush, and those who do sometimes don't even realize they're a legacy anywhere until AFTER they rush (like one of my littles... it wasn't until she started telling her family she joined a sorority that she found out she was a KD legacy!)

Does anyone have information on our recolonization a North Carolina- Pembroke. It's over but I was wondering how many we got in the colony?

ta kala 10-04-2008 05:33 PM

I believe UNC-Pembroke took 39 members AND Eta Lambda at F&M took 19 during their first recruitment week! Their formal is in the spring, so they were doing COB. I am so proud of them!

I know you are and you should be since they are your babies. Tell your Texas roomies, hi, from Big D.

eta kappa at neu was 23 new girls for total of 77 in our second year!

WCsweet<3 10-17-2008 06:40 PM

Alpha Lambda, I believe, ended up with 54 girls. The total is now. The new pledge class is close to doubling the house!

P.S. Be proud! Usually KD is not as popular as it is in the South (from what I was told). This year we had the biggest class! Now we are tied for first.

Hello! Yesterday, the Epsilon Zeta Chapter officially returned to the UNC-Pembroke community with 36 outstanding women. Julie Johnson led Initiation, and Bonnie Warren presented the charter during the Installation Dinner. AOT!
