Recruitment for new fraternity

Hey everyone,

I'm on the rush committee of a newly re-formed local Fraternity who was just established back on campus this past term. We're moving into our house in September and this will be our first rush. We need some ideas and I thought I'd come here for advice. Anything you guys could help with would be appreciated.

You should have been rushing all summer.

That being said, there are alot of rush ideas on this board, just look on any of the twenty similar threads..it feels like this board is only people looking for rush ideas.

Cosign with Elephant Walk. And I'll give the same advice I always do. If all else fails find a way to make parties which would otherwise be banned semi-legitimate ("birthday parties" during rush week, etc.) and invite every good looking girl that gets along with your brothers to it.

As a re establishing local, you should have a little knowledge by the students on campus.

A lot may have to do if you are up against National GLOs. That makes it a bit harder. You do have a plus with a house and if others do or don't.

Get out, wearing you letters around campus and let people know who you are.

Good luck!:)

Are you guys participating in formal recruitment with the inter/national organizations?
