I was out of town this week helping my family memeber move back onto campus at one of our prestigious HBCUs and during the time there I saw the school calendar they passed out to everyone in the little packets. There it was highlighted in bright yellow "Pan Hellenic Informational Week... Spet.15-22nd" :eek: then after that, "Pan Hellenic Greek Intake...Sept.28-30th". :eek: Now maybe I'm behind the times but this shocked me because it was so "public" , among other things...What do you all think about it?

Well, colleges and universities are doing "different" things these days.

I'm sure with the informationals, secrets aren't being revealed.

It could be a way for the Pan-Hell orgs to collectively give general information about their respective organization and events scheduled for the semester/year.



Maybe someone from an HBCU where this occurs can enlighten you more. I'm not too shocked or surprised anymore about the goings on at colleges and universities these days.

Why didn't you ask someone handing out the flyer/calendar while you were there?;)
