Obama-New or not?

True or not?

THE EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

I know that some of you don't like to read long drawn out missives ,so here's the executive summary.........

Congress Military
John McCain 26 Years 22 Years

Barrack Obama 143 days 0

Just think how great a professional of any kind you could be with only 143 days of experience!!!

People want change so badly? . . . . maybe we should lower the experience requirement for doctors, lawyers, airline pilots, etc. This would cause some change!

Obama's 143 Days of Senate Experience

Just how much Senate experience does Barack Obama have in terms of actual work days? Not much.

From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United States Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory Committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate.

That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

The one single Senate committee that he headed never even met -- once.

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.

Think about it.......143 days -- 20.4 weeks -- 4.7 months ...

Our children spend more time in pre-school getting ready for kindergarten.

Stop posting forwards.

preciousjeni 08-15-2008 07:19 PM

Seriously, Tom, why do you insist on doing this?

Tom Earp 08-16-2008 12:38 PM

Why should I???

If you are not interested in reading some information then do not read it let alone take your time to post!

Do all of you know everything that is going around you?

I figure it is nice to have Friends, Greek or not, who will send me things.

Guess some of you don't or pretend to know everything.

What other req is there to be president, other than being a natural born citizen and the age req? Our current president had the least amount of experience compared to the rest of his counterparts! John McCain's Military experience alone doesn't make him "most presidential," nor does Barack Obama's years in public service.

Oh, by the way, your incorrect. Obama has had 11 years in elected office. Just to compare, George W. Bush has a total of 13 years, 8 of which he was president.

Generally, people post on forums as part of a community. If 100% of your community is asking you to stop posting spam, and if you really wanted to be part of that community, you'd stop...unless you're trying to upset people so you'll get a reaction.

When has GC longevity been mentioned? No one has said anything about who has been here longer... probably because it's pointless to bring it up in this situation.

Just stop posting spam, Tom. Like preciousjeni said, the GC community has requested that you stop. Why do you insist on doing something the community doesn't like? Do you boast your right to pee in pools, too?

AlphaFrog 08-17-2008 02:16 PM

Maybe I missed it, but what's up with the S&G and TPU thing??? WTF does that even mean???

Is he in violation of the TOS?

Tom will keep doing that because he wants to and he thinks he's annoying some people. If he isn't in violation of the TOS, we can't get him to stop just like he's been unable to change the climate of GC despite his attempts to do so. :)

SWTXBelle 08-17-2008 03:24 PM

My 5 year old annoys his 8 year old cousin no end.
I have told her that he is doing it FOR the reaction he gets.
No reaction = no annoying actions.

Just sayin'.

preciousjeni 08-17-2008 06:32 PM

Perhaps an experiment? We could all ignore Tom and see what happens.
