Okay, you guys are going to think I'm crazy, considering I am a grown woman watching a teeny bopper show. But, I watch "Baldwin Hills." My husband and many others think the show is scripted. Here's what I think: reality shows are definitely "semi-reality" I believe that producers tell their cast, "Okay, I'm going to present you with a situation (send you on a trip, etc.) and then film it."
Some of the show seems kind of scripted, but I don't think all of it is. Anyway, I can't stand some of these kids. They are so boogie and don't know the reality of most black folks lives. I'm sorry but I have issues with people that live such priviledged lives and have little or any exposure to people that are not like themselves. The same as rich white kids who only grew up in white suburbia and have never been around people who are different. Vanessa Bell Calloway's daughter may be in a a rude awakening at Spelman. These kids couldn't survive in the hood! And some of the girls make me wish I was 16 again and give them a beat down. Those girls, Lor'Rena and Gerren would catch a case if they grew where I did. I do like Staci and Sal they seem to be the most genuine out of the bunch. Anyway, am I the only adult that watches this show ? What do you think?

Definitely did not like Baldwin Hills. Only saw it once...that was too many times.

What's wrong with growing up priviledged? Isn't that the aim of so many people who work so hard so that their kids can have a better life? You don't have to grow up in the projects and have a hard knock life to be a well-rounded person.

I think the season finale will be good. I look forward to reading about it since I probably won't watch it.

Priviledged and ignorant are two different things. That show is ignorant, as is most other programming on BET.

I thought qt237a was talking about the show at first but then I read Determination's post. Maybe qt237a is responding to the assumptions made in the OP.
