At my college in Texas we have 3 day recruitment with the 1st day being Brag / Philanthropy Nigh the website says What to ask the chapters:*What do you like most about Greek community?
*How has your sorority involvement enhanced your time at SHSU? *In your opinion, what are the greatest attributes of your chapter as an organization? *What type of financial responsibility is required? *What types of events or fundraising do you have to benefit your philanthropy? *What is your favorite sorority memory? 2nd Day skit night What to Ask During Skit Night:* What kind of activities does your chapter do? Retreats? Socials? Sisterhood? * What are your academic requirements? 3rd Day What to ask during preference:* What does sisterhood mean to you? * Why do you feel that you made the decision? * How have your sisters impacted your life? Ok sorry its long but my point is I'm sure all the girls going through recruitment have read this website a billion times like I have, and are probably planning on asking these exact questions. I've been thinking of others questions that would really help me during recruitment, both to get a feel of the sorority, and also become remember able. ****Are there any questions that you can think of that might help me out?**** ****And if so what round would be the bet one to ask certain questions?**** |
Whoa - fix your post first. Then we'll see if we can help you.

I would ask each member about themselves, what they do with their sisters and how they have personally contributed to the sorority. Just like the members need to know you, you need to get to know them on a personal level. I don't see anything wrong with asking the fluffy questions (tv, sports, hobbies, etc.) once you get your more pressing questions (in the original post) answered. You might find some common ground and strike up a real connection.
