"40 Year Old Virgin" Actor Arrested

An actor who appeared in "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" has been arrested in connection with an attack on his former girlfriend in which she was stabbed more than 20 times and critically wounded, authorities said Tuesday.

Shelley Malil, 43, was arrested Monday night as he got off a train in Oceanside, Lt. Phil Brust of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said in a statement.
