Collegiate-written Recs

I was told my an alumni of a specific sorority that an undergraduate could write and send in a recommendation on my behalf ? Is this true? I read a GC thread that said that sorority recs can ONLY be accept from an alumni? Or did I read wrong?

Certain sororities allow collegians from other chapters (NOT the chapter you will be rushing out) to write a recommendation. Alpha Delta Pi is one such sorority. There is a place on our reference form to indicate if you are an alumna or collegiate member.

It depends, certain sororities allow collegians to write recs. See the thread OTW posted to see which ones do.
