Fall Rush at UGA
 

I'm a sophomore that just transferred to UGA this past spring, and i start Formal Fall Rush on Wednesday. I was wondering if anyone can tell me the top fraternities on the campus, and the ones really well known with a good name behind them. I'm just curious to know so i know what to look for and to make the most out of the experience. Also, if anyone who goes to UGA wants to give me some pointers on how to appeal to the Fraternities i'm interested in, i'd appreciate it.

Didn't you figure out which ones were the good ones over the last semester, perhaps?

Yeah, maybe i figured it out in my head which ones i'm interested in, but am i not allowed to ask a third party? I'd like to take in other people's opinions and see what they think, because someone else might know better than me.

You are the one on campus for the past year. Which would make your own eyes and ears the best place to look for information on any of the Fraternities on campus. And I say that as one of your other posts just about gave your interest away. Not a very good thing to do on an open board while you are in rush. And you, not stranger on a board, know what you are looking for and what kind of person you are.

As for what to look for, you are looking for a fit. A group of people that fit with each other and that you fit in with. So keep your eyes and ears open and brain turned on. Ask question and listen to the answers. And do not put on an act as that will be seen though faster than you can put it on.

What are you looking for in regards to a Fraternity? I recommend going to the student center and writing down the names of differen organizations, then go online and research the organizations....this should help you narrow down your choices.

Umm, I don't think UGA has a month long rush week, so I think this advice may be a bit late.

Not talking about a month....I'm talking last night, this week. I was on campus last night and part of an informational forum.

The guy said on August 10th that rush started that week...

UGA fraternity rush is over right? Pretty sure it is.
