He collapsed in his home and was pronounced dead at 2:08am Sunday morning at a hospital in Memphis.

I saw it originally on Perezhilton.com and then I posted. My secondary source was cnn.com where it is on the main page.

Shit's fucked up, I won't lie.

Bernie Mac's dying was sad, but Shaft? Worst weekend to be black EVER.

FWIW, Bernie Mac didn't die from his sarcoidosis, which had been in remission, but from pneumonia.
