Does anyone know of any teke cheers besides the usual one?

I assume you mean the usual one to be the rowdy " Tekes once tekes twice..." one? That's the one we use most of the time in my chapter. If that's not the one, then I'll private messenge you it.

Also at conclave, we would cheer:

"WHO'S EXCITED BOUT T K E?"

"I'M EXCITED BOUT T KE E!"

alternating parts and so forth.

that's close, except we do "rah rah TKE!" instead of that.

then there's a second verse which is even worse.


when we went down to new orleans for our conclave, we found that each chapter has their own particular variant of this cheer, but that many do it.

The brother cheer sounds the same but Ihave heard it varies from chapter. We have a pledge cheer to thats simialr but i think is actaully funnier and better than the brotherS cheer. We aso have other type teke spirit cheers none of which I can remeber the names of. Their are also cheers about some sororites but Iw on't mention them. lol

Alpha Xi has modified the first of those two chants, check my signature.

We share the same chant with our little brother chapters... modifying the chapter designation with their own (Tau Psi, and Upsilon Alpha)... goes a little something like this:

Also, my blood brother is a Pike (Pi Kappa Alpha) and they have a similar chant like that. I'd like to know who wrote the originals that several other fratenrities seem to share. I thought that was interesting.
