Crackberry Addicts

I just bought my second phone ever- a Blackberry Curve 8320.
It doesn't seem to leave my hands. I keep poking at it to find more functions. My hand feels strangely light without it.

Anyone else love their Blackberry? Or hate it?

I think its too much for me. I don't even really need it!

My bf has one. He never puts the damn thing down. I hate it and wish he never got it, it's annoying.
It's like the day he brought it home, I had to kiss 100% alone time goodbye because it's always beeping some alarm or he always wants to look things up because her can. Did I mention that I hate that thing?

My co-worker has one and it makes me crazy. While we're working on something and waiting for a server to reboot or something, she's constantly fiddling with it, checking her home email, playing solitaire.. grrrrrrrrrrrrr. If she paid attention to me, she might learn things faster!

I have a Blackberry Pearl and I love it! I would be lost without it!

Yay Blackberry Pearl!!!

My boss has one, and I'm seriously thinking of taking it away from him. He's in Court this morning, and has sent me 15 messages -- some are follow-ups for his clients he wants me to do, some are phone calls he wants me to make, and one was a running commentary on how crappy the roads are in Central Illinois. I still have at least 5 I haven't read yet, which I plan on doing once I've had my Greekchat fix.

My husband asked for one for his birthday; I "forgot" that he wanted one, and bought him the other things on his list. Knowing my husband, him having a crackberry would lead to me getting e/m's like..."Honey, what's for dinner?' or "Honey, where did I put my keys." A truely frightening thought.

How do you guys like the Pearl? The Boy has the Curve and loves it. I want to get the Pearl, because mine will be more of a phone/organizer than for email. He swears by the Curve and thinks I should get the curve. If I were in the States, there would be no discussion because I would get the pink Pearl. But they don't offer colors out here. :(

He is addicted to it, and I have to make certain times/places "Crackberry Free Zones" but hes not as bad with it anymore. When we first starting dating, he was TERRIBLE with it. I give him looks now and it goes away.

I love my Pearl. I have a red pearl and I know I could never go back to a regular phone. I'm considering an upgrade to the Curve only because the wide screen is better for regular webpages.

What applications do you all have? I have the one for IMs, a bunch of the Google ones, CNN, Weather Channel, ESPN, Yankees and MLB. Always looking for more good ones!

When we moved down to California, my husband got one. It didn't have a camera (his job did NOT allow phones with cameras). He was in love...I was ready to throw it out the window

5 days after that, he also got another bombshell: no pdas, treos or blackberry type phones.

He had to return it and I thought he was gonna cry as he took it back. He whined about it for MONTHS

He is no longer working at that company and is either gonna get an iphone or blackberry when our phone contract expires next month.

I have a Blackberry Pearl and I love it. I really can't imagine life BEFORE the Blackberry now.

I got a Curve yesterday. I didn't like it at first and I'm not sure I still like it (even if I can't put it down). But, I do find myself just poking at it for no reason. Maybe it is new phone syndrome? I had to buy a MicroSD card because PocketBlackberry for Mac doesn't allow file transfers of pictures or music.

Has anyone ever dropped it so bad they needed to replace it? Is it a delicate phone like the iPhone?

Take some time to thoroughly learn everything the phone can do. Once you get if all figured out you will love it! Also, definitely get a gel skin for it. My phone has been dropped many times and even left in the rain overnight and the gel skin has kept it like new.

I have a BB 8310 Curve (Titanium). Can't put it down. My top applications are: Facebook, Google Talk, Google Maps, & BB Messenger.

Ditto the skin. I saw those when I first got mine and thought it was cheesy. Now I have dents and dings just around the corners and wish I had of gotten one (I just use the leather sleeve that came with it thinking the screen would get the most abuse). :(

I also regret not getting a real good skin/case for it, but it's so scratched up I don't even bother now.

The iphones are a lot easier to break!
