Daddy Yankee & John McCain?!
You guys have to read this one...
http://wordpress.com/tag/daddy-yankee/ http://news.yahoo.com/nphotos/Sen-Jo...9977f80836cd8/ http://newsfeedresearcher.com/data/a....16.34.47.html http://www.hispanictips.com/2008/08/...day-afternoon/ McCain's efforts to gain some Hispanic votes! Interesting ;) |
I'm Hispanic.. and a Republican... and this would make me boycott the election altogether.
ETA: Alright I didn't really click anything before posting, so I assumed this was something along the lines of having Daddy Yankee perform at a McCain campaigning event, hence my response. But this isn't so bad, he's just (foolishly) trying to get the Hispanic vote. This still turns me off to McCain though. |
As a Hispanic this really doesn't have an influence on me. But it might have an influence on Hispanics that really don't know a lot about politics. Especially if they see some one they like supporting a certain candidate.

As some one who is forced to listen to A LOT of "reggae"ton. I guess he could have done a lot worse. There are a lot of "reggae"ton artists with poor producers that I can't even get through the first line of the song. Daddy Yankee is one of the better ones. But at this point, I think the politicians in the race are grabbing at straws. This isn't really going to do anything for him. I mean, what did they even talk about? Music videos? "Making it rain"?
|
Has anyone else noticed that 91% of reggaeton songs have the same beat/ bass line?
