Help me find the perfect college!

Hey I'm starting to look at colleges and this is what I'm looking for.

Really nice campus, cool town with lots to do, big greek life, pretty girls, and good academics.

Hook it up haha

here is some advise, look around on your own. For one thing finding a school with all of that would be near impossible for instance.

Collin County Community College

You'd fit in well there.

The kids these days have it so easy with the interwebs.

Any SEC school. Ole Miss, UGA and UF in particular come to mind, but any SEC school would meet all those criteria.

Quad C! {Collin County Community College}
:D

Well, of course Kentucky immediately comes to mind. Close to a number of larger cities but as far as I'm concerned it's perfect.

If you want a bigger town and better academics, then Vanderbilt.

Other than that, you can do what my son has been doing for months which is research and visit schools. The normal college search stuff. Oh, and keep your grades and extra-curriculars up through your junior and senior years, and take your AP exams.

"Cool town" and "nice campus" are awfully subjective. It depends what you're looking for (and what region of the country you'd like to attend school). Did you search on collegeboard.com or princetonreview.com?

advice: stay away from AZ.

might want to think what your going to major in first....

Here are some things you might want to consider while researching.
-Academics
-Freshmen Retention %
-Job Placement % out of college
-Internship Programs
-Class Size
-How many T.A.'s teach classes instead of professors

I went in as a naive freshman knowing what I wanted to major in.

I ended up changing my major 3 times.

I don't even know why I'm replying to this thread.

yeah but seriously, academics should be your first and foremost concern.

Roanoke College is great. I visited Roanoke for a friend's son's wedding and was very impressed with the town, the airport, the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains, and the college. Also saw Washington and Lee and liked that too. Check it out. My friend's daughter as well as the son whose wedding I attended graduated Roanoke and it wasn't too hard academically; just right.
