Lsu Rush?
 

What's going on with all the girls rushing at LSU this fall? Has rush started? Is it over? Come on and let us know!!!!!

Are there any girls out there who want to share their LSU recruitment experience? I have heard that the LSU campus is extremely competitive, and would be very interested in hearing the opinions of those who have actually gone through recruitment at LSU.

What about all the Alabama girls too? Has their rush even started? :confused:

I know from my IM's with cutehootie that LSU bid day is this Saturday.

I may be wrong, but I don't think UA's rush starts until Sept. 2nd! It's set up so wierd... one of the gals tried to explain it to me and I'm lost. I think it's actually 2 weekends with a week of classes between (no rush during that week). Does that make any sense?

You're absolutely right Orchid. We had an informational meeting last night. It was SO hot in there. I'm not trying to perpetuate any stereotypes, but it's funny because ATLEAST 75% of the girls there were blonde. You walked in and all you saw was blonde. There were SO many girls there!!!!! Probably 500 or so, and I know lots of girls that are rushing but didn't go. The next meeting we have is mandatory. When rush starts I'll post ALL the details.

How come bid day is Sunday this year? I saw all the girls lined up for Prefs tonight. That's unusual that they don't have bid day on Saturday. :confused:

Up in NY it seems EVERYONE is brunette In all of the sororities.

You are probably right. After all the person I heard my info from isn't the most RELIABLE sources in the world...lol.

LSU rush was sooo competitive this year!! (or so i hear, i went through it for the first time this year, so i don't know what to compare it to) A lot of girls who were legacies got cut from sororites. ( i know legacies don't guarantee anything, especially at LSU)
As you can see, I pledged theta and I love it!!!

Hey Thetalove!!!! Congrats on getting into Theta!!!!! I'm also at LSU. I didn't go through formal rush but I'm in a professional sorority, Sigma Alpha. How is your school year going so far???? Again...congrats!!!!

Thanks so much!! So far, things are going great, it was hard at first to balance studying and partying, but now i'm getting the hang of it. I'm from baton rouge, so i'm still living with my parents and i can't wait to move out!!! it's a good thing that we get along though. What exactly is sigma alpha? i know i've heard of it, but i'm unsure of all the details.

Hey!!!! Glad you're learning to balance studying and partying!!!!! I know it's still hard for me at times and I'm a junior. Sigma Alpha is a professional and social sorority for women who are majoring in agriculture. We're kinda small but I really like that about my sorority. I get to have a tight bond with each and every one of my sisters. You might have heard about us through Panhellenic or maybe through Lambda Chi's Watermelon Bust if you participated. Hope that answers your questions!!!!!
