Hello all you lovely Thetas out there! I am in the process of finalizing our fall 2008 recruitment plans and we are trying to include the song "I'm Gonna Fly" by Amy Grant into our preference ceremony, but we are missing some of the sheet music? Do any of y'all have it? Our "Work Week" starts August 18, so that would be when we have our resident pianist and soloist learn it if able. I would appreciate hearing back from you! If you don't have this song, what are some other pieces y'all have performed during preference?

we have the lyrics, we just need the sheet music or a recording, so we can learn how it goes.

I can't find a copy of the sheet music, but the song is on The Collection, which came out in 1986. Maybe if you have a gifted musician in your chapter she can learn it by ear.

Good luck with your pref. We had a member who played violin, and the song was beautiful with piano and violin when we did it for our ceremony.
