NPHC & Foreign (exchange) students

and im new to this board, js introduced myself politely in 1 of the other thread.. Ive posted a similar msg on the recruitment board, but they told id be better of askin in other subforums here.

ive been readin a lot of posts lately and i kinda like the vibe up in here :)
I also used to the search button to make sure this topic hasnt been utterlyy discussed over and over again :p
the only thing i found was a thread were only a couple of ladies responded to, so i havent really gotten an answer..

Spring 08 i was an exchange student and i have plans on either comin back for another year or a complete grad school study.
During my stay i was completely intrigued by the NPHC organisations and the whole college experience in the US. Unfortunately in my homecountry we dont really have frats and sororities to the extend the US has.

My question is do the NPHC sororities have international chapters? Ive read something on the net about ABC and XYZ havin some alumni chapters overseas, but thats about it..
Or do you accept foreign exchange students (grad of undergrad) knowing they might not be there for the whole undergrad or grad program even tho they mite comply w all of the other requirements (e.g. good GPA, community service oriented etc.), or is it not even an option.

Ive read the .. and i hope this is not seen as another 'membership' question and im not out of order for askin.. And actually i wanted to reach all 4 of the NHPC sororities, and i also read in one of the the threads dat greeks usually read other subforums too so i wont be needed to post this in other forums :)
id really appreciate some kind of answer :). all answers will help..

thnx, of course i checked out the websites first before postin my question.. i felt like i couldnt get all my answers from them, so i tried GC.
so basically if i dont read anything about it on the official site.. the answer is really just 'no'? (mb i read this in the newbie guide somewhere too, but i could still try :P..). Im from Europe, and i saw some european chapters, but unfortunately not in the country i live in :( so i guess im outta luck..
But uhhm for instance on your organisations website i found this: 'To become a member of a collegiate chapter you must currently be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university where there is an active chapter on campus or in the city.'
Exchange students are (and will still be if they come back to study the states again) in fact enrolled as students.. we dont have a 'temporary' students status or whatsoever for that matter.. But fact still is we'll return to our homecountry.
so what is the effect of this.. are we or are we not eligble to join any NPHC organisation?
