making amends???
 

Reading posts about gifts and dinners out has gotten me so sad because I don't think I have been a very good big. I am so busy during the year that, by the time I know it, another semester has gone by. Sadly, I feel like I have neglected my littles (who are the best girls ever!). One is already very active in chapter but the other not so much. Does anyone have any ideas? I'd be very appreciative.

Call them now! If one is not active find out why she isn't. Take them out for icecream. Rent movies and have a girls night! There is still time.
I am hoping I get chosen to be a big this year. In my chapter the new members choose who they want. Bigs are not assigned.

You don't need to spend a lot of money to be a good Big Sis. Just call your 'kids' every now and again, send e-mail or better yet, take the time to write them a note on pretty stationery.

Gifts are nice, but personal interest in them and their progress at school and at chapter is better, IMO.

Showing you care is so much more important than the showering of gifts. Giving of yourself is more important then material bobbles!
I love you and miss you is more importent than anything else!
When I see my Brothers a hand shake or grabbing each other means more to me that, I am at a lose for words, especially ones who I have not seen in a while! I never expected any of my Brothers to give me anymore than themselves to me!
