What is your family name?
 

My organization has a tradition that every family has a family name. I was just wondering what other people's family names are (sororities AND fraternities)!

Mine is the sheep family (in honor of the family's "black sheep," she was so different from everyone else in the family, but we love her anyway!)

We are the Cross Family. :)

We never had family names at my chapter.

Well I'll go ahead and chime in that I've never heard of a decent (not even good, just decent) fraternity chapter in the SEC who had family names.

We are the Manson Family and we only date members of the Fratrick Bateman Family. Strictly top tier!

The only problem you run into with that is this:

There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.

The Ashby Tree. (Named after the actual person we can trace our lineage to)

That was APO. I don't have a family or a tree in Alpha, but some chapters do.

Mine is the I'm-Not-Falling-For-This Family.

Pssst . . .last time I checked, Elon wasn't in the SEC.

We did not have family names in ASA or APO. We all bought the same shirt or sweatshirt for our littles, but that was it.
