Why do you support Barack Obama
 

Are African Americans supporting Barack Obama because he's black or becuase they honestly believe he is qualified to be President?

Who knows. Maybe both.

What are qualifications required to be President(except being a US citizen and 35 y/o)?

This is like asking what qualifies a person to be a leader or elected figure. I support him because his vision reflects my views. These views will further opportunities for the poor and middle class while closing loop holes for the rich. And yes, it does not hurt that he is Black!!!!

I support Obama because he has the intelligence, temperment, wisdom and biography to help us steer a better course. Anyone who has read both his books would see that so I strongly urge everyone to read both.

Why do folks/the mass media think we are all lemmings and simply support this man because he's black? I guess we can't form intelligent opinions to support someone besides his race...and white folks are NEVER asked this question! How soon they forget his level of black support pre-Iowa/South Carolina!
