Founding Fathers

How many of you out there were founding fathers at your zeta? We were initiated en masse as a group of 40, and I'll have to say, I've always felt like I "missed out".

Did they handle the first class of founding fathers the same at all zetas? Is it still done that way?

Yes I am!

LX Z 1.

Involved for 43 years now!

Yes, but mine was a bit different! Yes, there was an enmass, but that was for time constraints and I have found each and everytime I see Ritual, I cry, the hair stands up on the back if my neck and I see something semi-new all of the time!

PM me and we can chat!

I am a re-founding father at Western Carolina...

We were fortunate enough to have some really kick ass alumni who came back and gave us a taste of their time in College and their initial experiences in Lambda Chi. We got to experience traditions and they got to re-live the experiences of when they were going through. We had sent 13 guys through in Dec of 06, and recently received our charter this may. We classified everyone initiated before we received our charter a founding father.

Just so happens im first on the new charter... its kinda neat...

Justin first off Congratulations on the Re-Chartering!

It is nice to have your name first on the New Listing, but what happened to the Old Charter? Hope it is still available and can hang next to the new one!

I am sure Joe C had a great time as he is a super guy and Brother and a tirelsess worker for the Zeta!:)

I need to give him a call and see if he enjoyed it LOL!

JConleyWCU 07-09-2008 01:27 PM

Haha... he did... he barely survived the celebration lol...

We have the old charter in storage... and are looking to get a re-print of it to display, there was a misprint on our new one so we are getting a new one soon, and leaving the misprinted one hanging. There is a charter stealing problem at our university...

After getting the charter I think our next goal is to rock and rush, and start looking into a permanent house for the chapter, currently we do not have a house. The old house was sold and turned into low income apartments for migrate workers... So once we get a place to hang them we will...

KOOL, PM me and we can chat!;)

Stealing a Charter is not overly funny!

Or stealing a Manjor Composite isn't either!

Trust me I went livid when ours was stolen an made some serious threats to the Chapter and IHQ.

It came back with damage done to it, but was so glad to have it back!;)

I get really serious about My Zeta!:D

I hope J C was not toatally Stupid but a fun lover!:D I know he was proud as punch and was celebratiug and having a bit of the ????!;):D

We had that at Cal when I was an undergrad. Ours had been been signed by Warren Cole, et. al. from 1913.

Ours has been missing for at least 2 decades as well. Frustrating to say the least!
