National Convention
 

Hey!

Was just wondering if anyone from the board was heading to Chicago this week for convention? If you are... post that you're going! I fly in on Wednesday!

(I'm a Rho Gamma for Fall so can't write my name up here :'( )

I wish I were there!!!

But this is one of the busiest weeks at work. We had programs yesterday and today- and will have more tomorrow and Thursday. In fact, there are two of them on Thursday. Plus it is program evaluation month. And we are so short staffed that I had to be on the desk for the first half of today's program and could only come to assist with it for the second half.

I am crossing my fingers so that I can go to the 2010 Convention.

Anyone on here know who the new national president is?

I have only seen pictures of the new Grand Council so I'm not sure who holds most of the positions yet. I'll restrain myself from speculating till I find out for certain ;)

The only one I'm positive about is Amy Bailes-she is the newly elected National Treasurer!

Thanks! This is the first time since I have been a member that a new president was elected. I'm sure gonna miss Mari Ann as president but I sure hope she keeps traveling and doing her motivational speaking! She's so moving.
