Passing of Jimmy Bartle Taylor

The National Executive Director received a call Wednesday night that Jimmy had been hospitalized in Kansas City. On Tuesday she fell and hit her head. She passed away late Friday. She was 83. No word yet of any memorials.

Jimmy Bartle Taylor was the daughter of H. Roe Bartle, and I had the opportunity to meet her at several National Conventions, and she was a FIRECRACKER! She'll be missed....

I was fortunate to have had a chance to met her at a National Convention and get her to autograph a pledge manual and a copy of her bio on her dad.

A few years ago, she was the guest of honor at our Section 74 Conference. While not an early riser, I did get up to have breakfast at the hotel, and did get a chance to chat with her in the mornings. Other Brothers missed out on this because they were sleeping in.

She will be missed.
