Very Urgent: .AIF to .MP3 conversion
 

An APO Brother is dying of cancer and his friends are creating a video tribute for him. They are asking people to make videos and whatnot.

All I have to contribute are a few APO songs I have in .aif format -- do any of you have some sort of converter that will change the songs to mp3 format without chopping off 40 percent of the song like the trial versions?

I would love you for life. Or at least for a very long time.

I am behind a firewall right now so i can't see it...but google "aif to mp3 converter" you will get something.

I've never done it with an .aif file, but you can use iTunes to do conversions. Have you tried that?

I did that and all the converters from sites I trust will only convert 60 percent of the file.

yeah...good point...ruun it thru itunes and it will make you convert to AAC format.

the program i use is called switch

you download from google, i think you have to dig for it, i don't think it's at the top

but anyway, you just open it, browse for the file, choose the format you want them in, set up a folder for them to go to and press convert pretty simple
