Sucks, dont waste your money or time on it. I'm a huge Shymalan fan and am ashamed that he would put his name on this garbage.

I agree after The Village and this his career is over!

Yeah, someone told me what it is basically all about and it pretty much blows.

I actually like The Village; it was The Lady in the Water that really sucked!

Yeah, it sucked. There was so much more they could have done with the plot! And Marky Mark? Hes usually okay. I liked him in The Departed. He was terrible. There was some jumpy parts and gross parts, but yeah overall the movie gets a big thumbs down.

I liked the village but Lady in the Water and this were garbage.

This is disturbing.

I will probably wait for DVD rental. The MSN review was bad.

I'm convinced that my friend and I are the only people on earth who liked Lady in the Water. My only complaint was the ridiculous complexity of who was who in the legend.

I'm with Chaos, I'll probably rent it on DVD.

he hasn't made anything good (IMO) since 6th Sense.

I have never been able to watch all of Sixth Sense. It bores me. And that kid overacts, which annoys me. Micha Barton was the vomiting ghost girl, right?

A lot of people hated The Village but I loved it because it was clever TO ME, partly because it made complete sense and was actually realistic.

I loved Unbreakable (isn't that M.Night?) and Signs.

I agree - WORST MOVIE EVER!!

How embarrassing for poor Marky Mark, the sophomoric dialog was painful to listen to. The gratuitous gore was just pathetic.

I had suggested the movie to my husband, so we went - now, I owe him big time! I'll probably have to go to some guy flick to make it up to him. I've lost my credibility as the "movie selector" ;)

Could someone post what the movie is actually about, then, in white text so those of us that are curious (the ads do make it look compelling) can save ourselves the time & money if it's that bad? What exactly is "The Happening"?
