Recruitment Counselors wearing letters
I am in a situation where a recruitment counselor (also a panhellenic EC member) has worn her letters after being disaffiliated. Some PC members are claiming that since we have not yet signed our Recruitment Counselor contract and our recruitment rules and bylaws do not specify that Rho Chis may not wear letters, she may not be held liable. If they say we, as EC members must disaffiliate, is that enough to file an infraction or is there something more specific in the green book that can hold her/her chapter liable?
This situation may be dealt with appropriately by our advisor. However just in case, I wanted something to back it up. please help! thanks! |
A spanking! A spanking!
Tell her to cut it out or you're revoking her position on EC. |
I'll leave it to the Green Book experts to give you the back up you need, but still...
If this chick is screaming technicalities to save her ass, she might not be the right person for the Rho Chi and EC jobs. Disaffiliation = not wearing letters. It's not rocket science. I'd get a new Rho Chi. |
If after a certain date it was decided that letters were not to be worn on campus or in public the rules must be followed. As a former PC officer,(who didn't have to sign a contract at all, I just had to follow the rules cos that was my JOB) a PC officer should totally know better. She has other shirts. Throw her under the bus. She's defeating the whole damn purpose.

i think this would fall under the campus panhellenic rules and guidelines. sounds like she found a loophole rush counselorwise-it's unpanhellenic, but may not be against the rules. talk to the greeklife advisor.
