Celebrity Hair Stylist set to Service the women of Alpha Kappa Alpha for Boule!
 

Hello Sorors, Let me first introduce myself as I am new to this site. I am a Soror of Beta Chapter, Fall 06'. I work with a celebrity hairstylist... Shasha Lee who has styled the hair of Janet Jackson, Destinys Child & others and during the time of our Centennial Boule we will be out in DC, doing a photo shoot. When she heard that we would be having our celebration out there she decided that she wanted to extend her stay and service the women of Alpha Kappa Alpha for their event. She already has in the works reserving an entire salon in a hotel out there in DC, (near the convention center) a makeup artist and a massuse in the works... Is this something that you ladies who are attending Boule, willing to try? I am her marketing manager and I would want her to stop her plans if you ladies would not be receptive to this idea. Tell me what you think....

As hot as it will be in DC, I can tell you to keep a morning appointment available for Constance. I'm sure that she will freely give an arm and a leg to keep her look together. She will be the one coming into town with two sets of luggage. The one that has clothes already laid out in my house and her house; the one that had to purchase extra pieces of DESIGNER luggage just to carry shoes and bags; she will be the one that is taking food from my table and causing me to not have a vacation because of her excessive spending for this event. As you can tell, I will be glad when this event has come and gone!!!!!

This sounds like a nice idea. What are the prices? Will she have to get clearance from the National Office to become a type of vendor?

If she is able to participate- I know that I would would the services...a week is a long time...

Well She will be having a special discounted price for AKA's but she is in the works of developing a site for them to register online, I'm sure you can register when it's up and reserve a spot.

Well she will not be in the Convention Center but she is in the works of renting out a spa in a nearby hotel...
