Anyone watch the premiere tonight? I love country music, but my ears hurt after some of those performances. Some of the acts are great, but I'm surprised they didn't find stronger voices.

I only saw the last half hour and caught like 3 performances. The first girl I saw was decent, the second guy was soooo pretty but he kind of sucked, and the last woman was amazing.

I was a little disappointed with the limited talent I saw. There's an entire country out there, where's all the talent?

I'm glad BR lost the highlights. He's too old for that :)

I wanted to watch it, I saw the first two performers and the last two performers. The rest of the show was interrupted by a stupid thunderstorm. Wasn't even that big of a storm.

I didn't and don't watch it...but I've always wanted to audition. But, don't they require that you play an instrument and play an original song during the audition?

I just sing....I'm not good with that composing stuff....

I watched it on my DVR last night -- no one's my favorite yet, but I've liked other seasons so I'll give it a try another week or so.
