Summer in your group...

Just curious as to how summers work in your chapters. I've seen everything from nothing at all to a single summer get together to almost normal meetings and pledge classes...

informal meetings sometimes, maybe early semester planning before school starts. Summer is Summer and we all try to hang out with who is in town mostly

My chapter of initiation has service projects on occasion but no formal meetings.

It depends on who is here and a lot of us are gone. So far, nothing has been going on to where we would have a project or whatever

My college chapter doesn't do anything in the summer, since almost everyone goes home for the summer. My alumni association has a bunch of activities happening this summer. : )

A lot of brothers at my chapter informally get together quite often. There are a few meetings to redo the constitution, and plan for the next year. This summer we're also meeting to plan Service for the National Convention. There aren't any formal fellowships planned, but there is one service project that I know of.

My initiating chapter elects a "Summer Chair", who acts as chapter president during the summer. They gather the summer phone & email list (who will be in town for the summer) put together a few service projects, have some fellowships, and plan/carry out the summer reunion.

My advisee chapter doesn't do anything over the summer.
