For those of you who don't know, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, founded in 1962, is a leading pediatric treatment and research facility focused on children's catastrophic diseases.

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated pledged to raise Half a million dollars for St. Judes in 5 years.

Following the tour of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Kappas gathered in the auditorium to honor the major participants in the Sunday of Hope Initiative. The Grand Polemarch thanked all for their Herculean efforts in helping Kappa raise approximately $270,000 for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He said, “The Sunday of Hope Initiative will continue with accelerated efforts during the remainder of 2008 and into 2009.”

They are dedicating a wing of the Hospital in our honor, so I felt I should share this with the bruhs on the message board.
