Bo Diddley Passed Away
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Bo Diddley, a founding father of rock 'n' roll whose distinctive "shave and a haircut, two bits" rhythm and innovative guitar effects inspired legions of other musicians, died Monday after months of ill health. He was 79.

Wow, that is a huge loss, so sad to hear.
|
Oh no! I hadn't heard this.
RIP, Bo. Truly one of a kind. |
He was such a legend and had an enormous impact on the world of music. RIP
|
Sad news indeed. He was a pioneer and an icon . . . and a brother in Phi Mu Alpha to boot. He was an honorary initiate of, I believe, Eta Omega Chapter at University of Florida.

This made me :(.

So sad. One of the truly great originals. :(
RIP. |

They've been playing lots of Bo Diddley on Sinfonia Radio 1898 since Monday. They're playing "Spend My Life With You" right now.
