No!!!!! I just screamed when I saw this thread. I'm so upset. I loved him so much. He was such a great director and I was always so thrilled to see him appear in films.

I think I've had a strange love for him ever since Tootsie (although his career goes much further back.) Damn it! This really sucks. :(

He directed The Way We Were - a movie that totally changed my life. R.I.P. - there won't be another like him again.
