Funny News (for some) New Story of the Day

If you have seen the ad for the company, by the owner and founder, that says that they guarantee the safety of your ID you will enjoy this.
The owner had his ID stolen!:eek::D
Turn on the news or for that matter the late night shows for details.

Is that the commercial where the founder/owner has his "real" SS# on the side of a truck?

And says it on the radio?

I knew that wouldn't end well for him.

If this is true, that has to be embarassing and I wonder how he and the company will recover from this.

Runs ads on radio too I think.
Just heard it on afternoon radio show.
Seems as if he has a few law suits filed against him as well.

I was waiting for something like this to happen. It's OK to have faith in your business, but come on...

Yes. To some this is funniest thing of the day.

I agree with some of the comments the owner made in the article. He does place himself at higher risk than the average person does. Essentially, flaunting your SS# on advertisements and taunting criminals requires less effort on criminals' parts to get your info. The average citizen isn't doing that (even if the average person is careless with personal info in some other way).

And in 2 years he's had few people steal his identity but only one that was supposedly successful and undetected by the credit reporting agencies.

Heck, there are currently at least 3 class action suits against the company for not doing what they say.
