I was on Pi Phi express today and saw a dangle of our crest for sale (its supposed to attach to the pin and is very pretty). I was wondering if any chapter member could have a dangle, or if one had to be an officer or have a specific office..

I also am looking to buy an arrow plaque for my Little since we can no longer purchase paddles. I unfortunately cannot use Pi Phi express because they have a minimum order requirement. I was wondering if you lovely ladies knew of anywhere to purchase an arrow plaque off a website or by phone.

Do you mean the crest guards? In my chapter, everyone could have them, and just about everyone bought them. I think it's really strange to see a badge without them! I have several dangles attached to it for the offices I held, so it was important to have the guard for that, but I think they just look very nice.

Yup, the crest guards. They are lovely and I think I will get one. I just finished up a year as VPM, so perhaps I will get the dangle for that as well. Thanks so much!!

Yes, everyone can have them. In some chapters everyone seems to get them, in some none, and in some it's half and half (that was my chapter).

There are some special award guards that only certain Pi Phis get to wear...

With the arrow plaques, I went out and bought a sheet of 1" pine wood at the hardware store. Then, based on the paddle my big gave me, my dad made me more arrows. I now have like 60, because my father likes making random things. I sell them for $5 to my sisters, so they don't have to drive to Bradley and pay $10 or $15.
If you find an arrow shape you like, I encourage finding a handy relative or sister to bulk produce them.

You can also buy the arrows at Michael's or Hobby Lobby for about $2. I did this for my little--I painted it and then put her name on it.

I've found that that depends on where the Michael's or Hobby Lobby are. The ones by ISU don't have them at all, but the ones by Bradley (and some Pi Phi store) do have them, except they're like 10-11 dollars.
