Birthday ideas for my b/f
 

My b/f's birthday is coming up in about 2 months. We've been dating for about 14 months. For my birthday this year, he surprised me by taking me out to Phoenix, where I used to live for a few years, and had coordinated the entire trip, and a party or two with my best friend out there (he messaged almost all my friends and OPA sisters on facebook).

So, I would love to do something just as special for him. However, I'm unemployed after being laid-off in March (and trust me, job searching is soooo frustrating!!). I thought about maybe doing a surprise party...but I'm looking for any suggestions with that idea too (not sure if his apartment would be a good idea, because its quite small, and my place wouldn't be good either).

A friend of my suggested a park...however its in July, and here in Raleigh, with the humidity...not exactly a good idea! Like I said, I'm open to any ideas/suggestions because it would really help me out a lot! Thanks!
