Bid Day Shirts
Hi everyone Im new here. Just wondering what people's bid day shirts or just cute slogans in general were for AEPhi. I've seen a Phi's R Us one which I thought was really cute.

Hi and welcome! Our chapter didn't use Bid Day shirts, but rather Rush t-shirts, which we also wore on Bid Day.
One Fall we chose a Ben & Jerry's ice cream theme and wore shirts with "Hofstra's Phinest" across the front. Another Spring, a majority of the girls were into Broadway, so we used the musical, "RENT." We wore black shirts with A, E and Phi in block letters (like the show's logo) and on the back was written, "No Other Path, No Other Way, No Day but Today, Rush AEPhi." However, this was before the show was scheduled to close. Also, I was at the mall this weekend and thought it may be cute to use "Abercrombie & Fitch" as in "Alpha Epsilon & Phi." Maybe written out with "New York, Est. 1909" styled after the A&F line. Using a giraffe instead of a moose or something of that nature? Just thinking out loud, I guess! There are also some super cute ideas here: http://www.greek101.com/screenprinting/designs.php Good luck! |
We have used the Paul Frank giraffe before for bid day shirts. They were wicked cute! Last semester, we did a Rolling Stones shirt that said "You can't always get what you want...but we did!" For recruitment 2008, I'm pushing for "Little Miss AEPhi" but I'm not sure what we'll end up doing yet.

The semester I rushed (which was this one-Spring 2008) the girls had AEPhi letters on the front and underneath had Barbie spelled out like the Barbie doll and on the back had the outline of a Barbie doll face and said something like "who wouldn't want to be one". The shirts were black and the writing was hot pink. It was very impressive!

My chapter had a cute bid day shirt one year.
Front: American Express card with "Alpha Epsilon Phi" instead of "American Express", the date of bid day as the credit card number, and a giraffe instead of the centurion in the middle. Back: "Membership Has Its Privileges" |
