What to Wear?

Im currently a senior in high school (2 weeks 'til graduation!) and Im planning on rushing at Valdosta State University this fall and I was wondering what I should wear...
If any current students at VSU or anywhere could help, that would be great!

:p

*If this has already been discussed, Im sorry!

I'm not familiar with VSU, but most schools put out a recruitment booklet for PNMs that outlines dress code for each day.

You can read this, if you haven't already.

If the school does not offer the info. you are looking for I would find a neighboring school that may post ideas to help you out. Many take pictures of outfits and offer advice about what each round of recruitment entails. Good Luck!

Here is an example:

I think it was page 27.

NOTE: Every school is different, so try and research your school by making phone calls or asking someone who has been through the process. Do not use this link as to what you should purchase/wear for recruitment. I just wanted to show you what many schools print up.

Most schools (especially those with formal sorority recruitment) will have a "recruitment workshop" way in advance to parties (ours was about 3 and a half weeks before recruitment started) and they detailed what to wear and what not to wear to the various parties.

Also, at this point in the year, Valdosta (should) have their Panhellenic Council (and possibly recruitment counselors, Rho Chi's, Gamma Chi's, whatever they call them) for the next school year already chosen. If you want specific advice, try to find their contact information or contact the head of Greek life to get that information.

I know some people who were Gamma Chi's and on Executive board at my school and they were always more than willing to help answer any questions PNM's had.

Hope this helps!!!
