Bid Day activity ideas
 

Hey fellow AXiD sisters!
I am the NMOC for the Epsilon Psi chapter at Boise State University, and I am in need of bid day ideas. we are on a tight budget, and we will hopefully get 10 girls. I appreciate any ideas that you ladies might have. Thanks!

how about a b-b-que? or a pic-nic theme .. after eating which is always a mixer - if you make sure the actives are seating themselves amoung the new members do a few ice breaker games

How about bowling? That was something my chapter always enjoyed - and you can probably get some coupons to get your games for a decent price

The picnic idea sounds fun too. You could order sub sandwhiches from a grocery store deli and have chips and drinks, maybe go to a park.

If you had a spot that was big enough, you could have a Game night. Board games, or interactive games like trivial pursuit DVD edition where you could have teams and have the new members and sisters in groups. You could order pizza and get it at discount if you order like, 10 or more. Or Dominos and Pizza hut doing the $5 pizza deal might be cheap enough for your budget. FOr the games, just have the sisters bring ones they own or can borrow from friends.

I was going to suggest bowling, too! That's what my chapter did and we're small enough so we got two lanes next to each other and just had tons of fun.

I like the game night idea, too ... you get to know people really well while playing games, especially Cranium or Pictionary or games like that.

I like bowling too! One thing my chapter did was roller skating - we rented out a rink and had our sisterhood event there. It was hillarious and so fun because every one was relaxed and being silly. I also like the bar-b-que idea. What about a slumber party type deal, depending on time?

Hey my chapter sometimes has a pool party with a bbq at our advisor's house. You could go to a house of someone and go swimming or go to a city pool or beach if one is open!
