Chicago Bound Soror...Please Help

I am going to be visiting the Chicago area May 3-7 in hopes of finding a new place b/c I will be moving there sometime this summer. I would like to know any helpful info like good and affordable surburbs to consider when moving and good hang out spots while in Chicago. Oh, and any help on job leads will be very very very much appreciated!!! I would appreciate any help my lovely Sorors could give. And I'm always open to suggestions. Love you all!!!

Why did you post this twice? Although at least this thread is better titled.

Well, I didn't mean to post it twice. I tried to edit the other but couldn't change the title. I also tried to delete the other post but it wouldn't let me delete it either. So, I made another post to be clearer on what the post was about. I knew someone would message me about why I put up two posts...lol...I'm sorry. By any chance can you tell me how to delete a post that I create if i need to do so?

Hello Personality:

Contact the alumnae chapters in the Chicago area. You will need to do this anyway if you want to keep active at the alumnae level (and not be MAL).

Good luck! :)

Thanks Soror!!!:)

I saw all of that last night after my post above. I deleted the thread for you last night when I saw what you did. It's cool.:)

That was going to be my suggestion as well. The Mighty Midwest site might still have their list of chapters by states with website and contact information. Or maybe that was Central region?

You've got it right, Mighty Midwest. :)

Personality can take it from there. :D

:oI should have explained. I meant I couldn't remember which website lists chapters and contact information. Last year when the first book came out, I was on a mission to contact as many chapters as I could and I remember the Central Region having a really detailed chapter listing and I think the Midwest (my birth region) does the same, but maybe not.

So before anyone tries to revoke my Crimson Card,:p I know my regions.;)

Okay, please do not confuse the Mighty Midwest with the Dynamic Central Region. :D j/k -- (been a member of both.)

As stated by Chaos, there are a few chapters in the Chicago area besides Chicago Alumnae--Schaumberg/Hoffman Estates, Glen Ellyn, Joliet/South Suburban. But unfortunately the Midwest website does not have a chapter locator, nor are the state coordinators linked, so it would be hard for Personality to try and find someone short of contacting the RD herself.

Personality, PM me with your vital DST info and I will reply with contact info in the Chicago area.
