3D
Wow- 3D is tomorrow. I can not believe it's been four years. I have had so much fun and great memoires. I can't wait to be an active alumni member too. Anyone else going through 3D soon?

i grad. this dec. but i put mine off for personal reasons. my chapter did their spring one about two weeks ago. i changed my mind about not doing it at all and will do it in the winter. i don't know everything that i'll say, but it's probably mostly going to be about 2 of my pledge sisters and my 5 littles. they are the happiest times ever. :D

5 littles?!? WOW

I got my first set of twins in '06, i got my second set in '07, and then we had a cob since some women dropped out of the Phi period. (That's where the last one came in-sneak attack!) I met her the day I received her and I knew the minute that I met her that she had to be my little (even though at this point I was financially stretched from the other Fall '07s!!!) she was the younger sister of my pledge sister. So was one from my first set. So two of my babies are legacies through my pledge sisters.
Another one I met before b/c her brother is dating a lil from my first set (i call her a psuedo-legacy cos she's like a sister-in law! lol). The other one from my first set (the one dating the brother) I met when I was a Phi in a class when we became close. So there is only one that I have from meeting her during Phi period w/ no previous link. The rest come with some type of history. I graduated before the last one initiated :-( but we still have an amazing relationship and we go out pretty often and there are so many of them and they all get along so they have each other. We're having family day this Saturday and all kinds of "aunts" and stuff are coming. It's gonna be HUGE! There have been people with 6 littles, but I think that's the most our chapter's ever given out. I think I'm the only one though, that's managed to keep in touch with that many and have them stay active simultaneously! YAY! I have pictures-pm me for facebook! |
We had 3D this past Saturday morning for our seniors. I don't think I've cried that much in a long time...

even though I just joined this semester, it was really sad to see the seniors 3D. I had gotten really close to a few of them, so it was difficult. But some are staying in the area, so at least I'll get to see a few. :)

Yeah I had 3D last December which was when I walked, but just graduated. So weird. PhiMu_Lindz, neat that you're from American. That's where our chapter advisor went to school.
My 3D was sadly not so emotional. Our formal meeting that night lasted 6 hours. So by 1 in the morning we just didn't care. We were just ready to leave. I kept in touch with the alumnae chapter in our area this past semester, but now I'm going to Oklahoma for Law School. So I'm going to have to get in touch with the alumnae chapter there since I know NOONE there. Going to be super weird. And there isn't a chapter in Oklahoma City. :( |
