Remembering Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes
 

I had to mention this and no where else seemed fitting. It's amazing how much I can grieve for someone I didn't know, even after it's been six years. I don't expect any reply posts, I just had to put something up. Someone had to.

My boy was like "NOW Left Eye is dead......"

We had lost Aaliyah I believe the summer before. :(

I was completely obsessed with TLC as a kid. I even drew the mark under my eye for Halloween with my mom's liquid eyeliner. In one of the many magazine articles I had about them in '95, Left Eye was quoted as saying that sometimes she wished she would just get hit by a car and die, and that people would speak sorrowfully of her memory. I was very sad when she passed and also had a very eerie feeling about the power of words.

^^Lol, I think I still am obsessed. :D On the one year anniversary, myself and hundreds of other members of the CyberTLCWorld message board agreed to wear black marks, band-aids, etc. under our left eyes. I thought about doing that today. :)

wow i cant believe its been that long! I was really bummed about both Aaliyah and Left eye since I was a fan of both A and TLC :( RIP ladies!
