Jimi Hendrix and The Doors

Are there any Jimi Hendrix or The Doors fans on greekchat? Or is it just me?:)

macallan25 04-22-2008 02:21 PM

Big fans of both. Absolutely.

DSTCHAOS 04-22-2008 02:54 PM

Fans of both but like The Doors more.

Born Under A Bad Sign, Voodoo Chile Blues and Hear My Train comin' are my favorites by Jimi. I like all of his music, but those are the best.

Hello I love you, and Light my fire by The Doors are two of my favorites. I really like the long version of light my fire.

I listen to Jimi's traditional/improv blues material more than anything from his catalog . Up From the Skies, Machine Gun, South Saturn Delta, etc. etc. Big Band of Gypsys fan as well.

The Doors? Hyacinth House, Soul Kitchen, Back Door Man, Whiskey Bar, Car Hiss By My Window, Peace Frog, Roadhouse Blues, When the Music's Over...........few that I like. Morrison Hotel is probably my favorite studio album from them. I really like that they are starting to release live shows from their concert vault.

seriously?

I love both of the bands/artists mentioned.

The long version of Light my Fire is a classic.

I agree with RU...
Noise?!

Jimi Hendrix's purple haze, foxy lady, all along the watchtower and so many more... The Doors are just...amazing...

I have only recently rediscovered my love for all things classic rock...:D

i don't call this music classic rock because of the mittigating circumstances of the time, although i consider them to be rock and many songs are classic

classic rock to me =boston, lynard skynard, led zeplin, from the 70's but proto 80's haircuts, rolling stones, etc.

I have gotten sick of some bands, but I have never ever ever gotten sick of the Doors. They are still one of my favorites.

DSTCHAOS 04-23-2008 05:08 PM
